We are created to worship.

We do this whether we know it or not. Though many worship things that this world has to offer, our church defines worship from a quote from Louie Giglio, “Worship is our response, both personal and corporate, to God for who He is, and what He has done; expressed in and by the things we say and the way we live.”

More specifically, we at Calvary use music as an avenue to worship God. It's not the only way to worship, but we do this as a church by gathering and singing together on Sunday mornings each week. When we say "Worship Team", we mean everyone from band and vocals on stage to sound engineer, livestream coordinator, and camera operators! This group of people set the atmosphere for those in attendance to worship Jesus! It is our goal each week to strive for an environment ,for both those in attendance and those joining us online, that will lead us to worship the God who saves.

A few things before you get started!

Team members on this team will be asked to be at rehearsals on the week you are scheduled. Planing Center is our source to find when we will be rehearsing for the week! (usually on a Wednesday)

Each Sunday, we have services at 8:15, 9:45, and 11:15am. Sunday rehearsals start at 6:45 am! We understand this is a big commitment for your whole family and encourage worship team members to serve only twice a month if possible. For more info, check out our worship team handbook!

All scheduling is done through Planning Center. You will be required to have this app on your phone or have a computer to accept or decline the request to serve.
