Duease Johnson has thirty years of experience in mental health. She received her MS in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from the University of California, San Francisco and she completed two years of post-masters training in family therapy from the Family Therapy Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was in private practice as a psychiatric CNS-BC nurse for twenty years providing medication management to adults over the age of 18 and counseling for adults, couples, and families. She currently holds licensure in Indiana as a Registered Nurse.
Biblical Scripture, along with sound and complementary mental health practices, including CBT and Solution-focused therapy form the foundation of her counseling approach. She does not work with those experiencing addiction to substances or addictive behaviors, sexual abuse, severe trauma, or eating disorders. She specializes in working with adults suffering from depression, anxiety, adjustment to life stressors, life transitions (including geriatric concerns), relational problems, psychiatric conditions (eg. bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, OCD, and treatment of family members of those with mental disorders), anger management and disturbances within couples’ and family systems.
She sees adults and couples virtually, and in person if fully vaccinated. She sees families in person when all members are fully vaccinated.

Debbie Heinold is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) who works for Still Waters Counseling. Her previous career path was as a nurse and she is a native Spanish speaker (therapy in English only though). While she sees adults of all ages, she has a particular emphasis on young adults, women's issues, and TCK/MK populations. Debbie's specialties include depression, anxiety, life transitions, and she is currently pursuing training in EMDR. She uses a narrative, cognitive behavioral and strengths based approach with her clients. Her fee is $100 per session.
