Justin and Lacy McKay are missionaries and church planters in Arvada, CO with the SEND Network. They are starting a brand new church called The Local Church. It’s a local church for local people with a local mission. They are passionate about their mission to help the people of Olde Town Arvada follow Jesus, build relationships, and discover their purpose. Pray for them as they begin a new work in a spiritually dry area of Colorado. They’ve been married since November 2015 and they have one daughter, Posy.

Calvary is financially supporting church planters Justin & Lacy McKay and The Local Church as they reach Old Arvada, Colorado. We also help them provide resources for their local schools as one of their goals is to love their community well. Teams have visited Denver to serve with The Local Church and we hope to send another team this fall.

The purpose of our Denver trips is two-fold. Half of the time the team will be working with The Local Church , serving the community and catching the vision of TLC. The other half of the time focuses on spiritual formation through disciplines like prayer, silence, and solitude, and simplicity through activities like group study, hiking, times of reflection, and prayer walks.
