Theology is a formal word that literally means the “study of God.” Often times people assume that theology should be reserved for ministers or a divinity school. Nothing could be further from the truth. Theology provides us the gift of studying God to learn more about Him allowing us to draw closer into His presence.
One easy way to begin studying God is to apply the resource of a theological house. This tool is designed to help us establish a starting point in our understanding of who God is followed by the next steps in understanding how to grow in one’s faith. As a church, it also provides a clear framework of essentials versus non-essentials.
The theological house is a tool to help you to grow in your faith.
